The super-affirmative procedure is an enhanced form of parliamentary scrutiny used for some delegated legislation. It usually gives Parliament more time than the ordinary affirmative procedure and may involve consultation, committee consideration, recommendations, or opportunities for revised drafts. It is used where broader delegated powers are being exercised and closer scrutiny is considered appropriate.
