Windsor is the principal historic and visitor centre, closely associated with Windsor Castle and the River Thames. The constituency also includes residential areas and neighbouring settlements with strong road and rail links toward London and the Thames Valley. Windsor Great Park and other green spaces contribute to a notably open landscape around parts of the town. Overall, the seat combines a historic royal town with commuter communities, riverside areas and substantial parkland.
