It includes Malvern and other market towns, villages and agricultural communities spread across the Severn valley and surrounding hills. The Malvern Hills form one of the constituency’s defining landscape features, while the River Severn influences lower-lying areas farther east. Settlement is generally dispersed outside the main towns. Major road and rail links connect communities with Worcester, Hereford, Gloucester and the wider Midlands. Overall, the seat combines market towns, villages and extensive countryside rather than one continuous urban area.
