Brent West is centred on Wembley and covers much of the western half of the London Borough of Brent. It includes Wembley Central and Wembley Park, Alperton, Sudbury, Preston, Kenton, Northwick Park, Barnhill and Tokyngton. The constituency is densely urban and suburban, with Wembley providing the most prominent commercial and transport focus. Areas around Wembley Park have seen substantial redevelopment, while Sudbury, Kenton and Preston have a more established suburban form. The seat also reaches the borough boundary toward Harrow in the north and Ealing in the west. Its geography is compact, with residential neighbourhoods and local centres connected by major rail and road routes across north-west London.
