Lobbying for reward or consideration refers to Commons rules restricting MPs from initiating or taking part in proceedings or approaches that would confer a financial or material benefit on an outside person or organisation from whom they have received, are receiving, or expect to receive reward or consideration. It is one of the main standards rules connected to outside interests.
