North Antrim covers a broad part of northern County Antrim and includes towns such as Ballymena, Ballymoney and surrounding communities. The constituency extends from inland agricultural areas toward the north coast and the Antrim plateau, giving it a varied landscape of farmland, river valleys, upland country and coastal settlements. Ballymena is the largest commercial and transport centre, while other towns provide local services for dispersed rural communities. Road links connect the area with Belfast, Coleraine and the Causeway Coast. The constituency therefore combines a substantial inland town with smaller centres and an extensive rural hinterland across northern Antrim.
