Fermanagh and South Tyrone is a large constituency in the west of Northern Ireland. It includes almost all of County Fermanagh, centred on Enniskillen, and extends east into South Tyrone around towns such as Dungannon and surrounding rural communities. The constituency is predominantly rural, with settlement dispersed among small towns, villages and farmland. Lough Erne and its network of lakes, islands and waterways are defining features of the Fermanagh landscape, while the eastern part becomes more agricultural and upland toward Tyrone. Enniskillen is the principal service centre, with Dungannon providing another important focus farther east. The seat’s scale and dispersed geography distinguish it sharply from the more compact Belfast constituencies.
