Woking Blackhawks Basketball Club
The project will support female participation in basketball by increasing capacity and improving player development pathways, alongside purchase of appropriate kit. This will include introductory sessions for beginners in school years 6-9, Level 2 courses for two new coaches and referees, skills sessions for older teens, and targeted development camps for existing players. In addition, the project will buy replacement backboard padding to improve player safety. Funding will pay for venue hire, equipment, coaching fees and expenses, qualifications and kit.

This project will expand inclusive group walking sessions for those who are inactive, suffer from depression and/or social isolation, disabled people and for those referred by social prescribers. Sessions will be delivered weekly in areas of Surrey, over 12 months. Funds will cover promotion, volunteer expenses, walk leader fees and co-ordinator costs.

This project will help the club continue to operate. This will be achieved by purchasing an upgraded scoreboard. Funds will cover a digital scoreboard.
