Weston-super-Mare constituency is centred on the North Somerset seaside town and contains most of its main urban area. The Bristol Channel and long seafront define the western edge, while residential neighbourhoods extend inland toward surrounding hills and countryside. Weston is the principal commercial, transport and visitor centre, with a large town centre and strong road and rail links to Bristol and the wider South West. Development is predominantly urban and suburban, becoming lower-density toward the outer edge. Overall, the seat is strongly focused on one large coastal town and its surrounding neighbourhoods.
