Local context
South Ribble covers communities immediately south of Preston and includes Leyland, Longton and a number of surrounding villages and suburban settlements. The constituency sits across the Lancashire plain, with most of its population concentrated in established towns and commuter communities linked closely to Preston. Open farmland and smaller villages separate parts of the built-up area, especially toward the western and southern edges. Major road and rail routes provide strong connections with Preston, Chorley and the wider North West. Overall, the seat combines suburban and small-town development with a substantial area of lower-density countryside.

Footle UK CIC
This project will deliver exercise sessions to people in Blackpool and Preston, who have experienced trauma. Face to face one-hour sessions will take place weekly at four locations and two weekly sessions will be available online, over 12 months. Funds will cover travel, equipment, coaching fees and external facility hire.
Vernon Carus Sports Club
This project will repair damage to the practice cage all weather surface, sight screens and mobile covers caused by severe winds during Storm Chandra. Funding will cover the cost of these works.
Mawdesley Cricket Club
This project will purchase essential coaching equipment and a second portable batting cage to allow multiple junior and women's training stations to operate simultaneously.
