Selby constituency is centred on the North Yorkshire market town of Selby and extends across a broad area of surrounding villages and countryside. Selby is the principal commercial and transport centre, located close to the River Ouse and important road and rail routes. Beyond the town, the constituency includes smaller settlements, farmland and low-lying landscapes between York, Leeds and the Humber. Several communities have a strong commuter character, while others remain more rural. The seat therefore combines one substantial market town with a wide agricultural hinterland and a dispersed network of villages rather than one continuous urban area.

Sessions will be delivered weekly for 60 minutes, over 12 months. The project will reach 30 children and young people.
