Household composition

A broad view of household types in this constituency. Project Open Gov uses the four broad groups supplied by the Commons Library so the presentation remains consistent across the UK.

One-person households31.3% · 13,071 households
Families with dependent children24.5% · 10,231 households
Other single-family households42.1% · 17,560 households

Household-composition figures come from the Commons Library constituency dataset. The source uses census data and Project Open Gov displays its broad household groups rather than attempting to harmonise the detailed categories itself. View household-composition source ↗

Disability and day-to-day activities

The source records whether day-to-day activities are limited and uses separate person-level tables for England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

92,439 people in the source baseCensus 2021Source comparison: England & Wales
Day-to-day activities limited a lot9.2% · 8,534 people
Day-to-day activities limited a little11.9% · 10,991 people
Not disabled under the Equality Act78.9% · 72,914 people

Comparison note: the workbook uses different source terminology across the UK: England & Wales uses “Disabled under the Equality Act”, while Scotland and Northern Ireland use “Disabled” / “Non-disabled”. Project Open Gov therefore preserves the source categories and does not present them as one single like-for-like UK legal definition.

Disability figures come from the Commons Library constituency workbook. This profile uses the person-level tables only; the workbook also contains separate household-level disability tables which are not used here. View disability source ↗

Phase II Securing DHT’s future

The Dronfield Heritage Trust

£247,239

The National Lottery Heritage Fund · Heritage

About this award

Dronfield Heritage Trust (DHT) wishes to ensure that Dronfield Hall Barn remains open to a variety of users, and to continue fulfilling the objects of our constitution to be a Heritage, Arts, Education and Functions Centre. The Grade II* building and grounds opened in 2015 and DHT has strived to fulfill its charitable purpose despite changing post-Covid economic and social conditions. We aim to attract visitors and corporate clients from across south Yorkshire and the wider East Midlands. Following the implementation of the Heritage Fund Resilience Grant Phase I (March 2025 – Feb 2026) and the learning this has provided, the new Board of Trustees’ identified the need to develop a ‘destination visitor attraction’, incorporating events unique to the Barn’s story. Phase II is shaped by this plan. Merging The Peel Centre Charitable Trust (custodians of an adjacent Grade II listed building) into DHT will be explored during this period.
