About this award
This project will deliver a free, weekly salsa dance and physical activity programme designed to increase activity levels among older adults and people from culturally diverse communities. While centred on older participants, sessions are open to all ages. Each session combines an accessible, one hour low-impact salsa class with a one hour social dance element, encouraging ongoing movement in a welcoming environment. Costs requested for coaches fees, travel expenses, promotion and equipment (speaker hire).
