Brandon Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy for Young People
This project will deliver 5 six-week programmes of therapeutic yoga for inactive 16-25-year-olds in Camden and Islington, who also experience low wellbeing. Delivered in community spaces for 75-minutes each session, it combines movement, breathwork, grounding and mindfulness to increase physical activity and improve wellbeing, teaching practical skills on the yoga mat that young people can use in everyday life. Funding will cover staff, facility hire and equipment costs.
The Royal Society for Blind Children
The project will provide accessible football opportunities for blind and partially sighted children aged 11-16 in North London. Delivered in partnership with Bloomsbury Football, this will involve monthly sessions focused on developing skills, general fitness, and teamwork. Funding will pay for coaching and delivery costs.
