Local context
Hertsmere lies immediately north of London and includes a series of Hertfordshire commuter towns and suburban communities. Borehamwood, Bushey, Potters Bar and Radlett are among its principal centres, each with strong road or rail links toward the capital. Much of the constituency is built up, but substantial green-belt land, woodland and farmland separate the main settlements and prevent them from forming one continuous urban area. The southern edge is closely connected to outer London, while communities farther north retain a more distinct Hertfordshire character. Overall, the seat combines established suburbs, commuter towns and significant open space rather than being dominated by a single centre.

Regain - The Charity for Tetraplegics
This project will provide specialist adaptive sports equipment and mentoring to 30 sports tetraplegics across the UK. This project will fund essential equipment such as handcycles and power-assisted wheelchairs, alongside peer mentoring and wellbeing support, including two in-person three hour sessions per month, over 10 months, and online support. Funding will cover facility hire, mentoring, equipment, transport and promotion costs.
