Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes brings together the adjoining North East Lincolnshire towns of Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Grimsby is the larger commercial and former fishing-port centre, while Cleethorpes forms a distinct seaside town along the Humber and North Sea coast. The constituency is predominantly urban and suburban, with residential neighbourhoods and local centres forming a largely continuous built-up area. Docks, industrial land and transport infrastructure remain prominent around Grimsby, while the eastern side has a stronger coastal and resort character. The Humber estuary and coastline define much of the northern and eastern edge, giving the seat a clear maritime identity.

This project will provide 80 inactive young people from low-income communities with positive experiences in Grimsby through movement, dance and fitness-based training. Six, one-hour free sessions will be delivered weekly across three locations, with each location running one session for young people aged 5-11, and another for those aged 12-16. Funding will support coaching, facility hire, training and promotion costs.
