Local context
Dorking and Horley crosses parts of Mole Valley and Reigate and Banstead in Surrey. It is centred on Dorking and Horley and also includes Bookham, Fetcham, Brockham, Charlwood and numerous villages across the surrounding countryside. The constituency has a strongly mixed landscape: Dorking sits among the wooded hills of the Surrey Hills, while Horley lies on lower ground close to Gatwick Airport. Between the main towns are villages, farmland and areas of downland and woodland, including communities around Box Hill and Leith Hill. The result is a largely rural and suburban seat with two distinct town centres rather than one continuous urban area.

Horley Lawn Tennis Club
This project will resurface the club's 20 year old mini tennis and pickleball tarmac court surface, to allow safe use for members and new players. Funding will support contractor costs.
Horley Bowling Club
This project will deliver safety and accessibility improvements, replacing deteriorated pathways, installing equipment to help get on and off the playing green, improving wheelchair access, and creating a dedicated spectator area. The aim of this will be to enable people to keep playing bowls, but also provide a more welcoming environment for potential new members.
