Local context
Didcot and Wantage covers a broad part of southern Oxfordshire and combines the growing town of Didcot with Wantage, Grove and numerous surrounding villages. Didcot is the largest urban centre and an important rail junction, while Wantage and Grove form a separate concentration of population farther west. Between and around them lie villages and agricultural land across the Vale of White Horse, with the landscape rising toward the Berkshire Downs in the south. Communities such as Harwell and the Hendreds sit within this wider rural setting. The constituency therefore mixes rapidly developing towns and employment areas with traditional market-town, village and countryside landscapes.

Response Organisation
This project will provide sports equipment for Papist Way, a staffed community housing development for adults with complex mental health needs in Cholsey, Oxfordshire. This will be achieved through purchasing equipment and delivery of regular sessions alongside opportunities for independent, low-pressure use. Funding will support the purchase of basketball, table tennis, football, cricket, lawn bowls and badminton equipment.
