Broadland and Fakenham is a predominantly rural Norfolk constituency stretching north and east of Norwich. It includes Aylsham, Reepham, Wroxham, Acle, Brundall, Taverham and villages across the Broadland district, and extends into North Norfolk to include Fakenham and surrounding communities. The seat contains no large city-scale urban centre; instead, its population is spread among small towns, larger villages and extensive countryside. The eastern side reaches into the Norfolk Broads, with rivers, marshes and low-lying landscapes, while the western and northern parts are more agricultural. Fakenham and Aylsham provide important market-town centres, with smaller settlements linked by rural road networks.
