Brent East covers the eastern and north-eastern side of the London Borough of Brent. It includes Willesden Green, Dollis Hill, Cricklewood and Mapesbury, Stonebridge, Roundwood, Kingsbury and the Welsh Harp area. The constituency is almost entirely urban, but its neighbourhoods vary from denser inner north-west London streets around Willesden and Cricklewood to more suburban areas toward Kingsbury and the Welsh Harp. Major rail and road routes cross the seat, while the reservoir and adjoining open space at Welsh Harp provide a substantial break in the built-up landscape. Rather than being centred on one town, the constituency brings together several established north-west London districts.
