Bicester and Woodstock links the rapidly growing town of Bicester with Kidlington, Woodstock and a wide area of villages to the north and west of Oxford. In Cherwell it includes Bicester’s four main wards, Launton and Otmoor, the Heyfords and both Kidlington wards. Across the West Oxfordshire boundary it reaches into Eynsham, Cassington, Freeland, Hanborough, North Leigh, Stonesfield, Tackley, Woodstock and Bladon. The constituency therefore has no single continuous built-up area. Instead, it combines Bicester and Kidlington with smaller historic towns and villages separated by farmland and open countryside, forming a broad arc around the northern and western side of Oxford.
