Aldershot is centred on Aldershot and the neighbouring Farnborough area within Rushmoor, while the current constituency also reaches north-west into Hart to include Blackwater, Hawley and Yateley East. Most of the seat is urban or suburban, with Aldershot forming its largest identifiable centre and residential neighbourhoods extending through Cove, Southwood, Fernhill and the northern parts of Rushmoor. The Hart section gives the constituency a different edge, linking the built-up Rushmoor area with communities close to the Hampshire–Surrey–Berkshire borders. Rushmoor Borough Council notes that the Aldershot parliamentary constituency covers the borough, and the 2024 boundary adds the Hart wards to create the current seat.
