A Parliamentary Paper is a formal parliamentary publication or paper connected with the work of one of the Houses. The term can include sessional papers and reports produced by Parliament and its committees, as well as some papers presented to Parliament. Parliamentary papers are often identified by House paper numbers such as HC or HL Paper numbers.
