What this bill is about
The Outdoor Education Bill would set minimum requirements for outdoor time and outdoor teaching for children in primary and secondary education. It would require children to spend at least thirty minutes a day outdoors during school hours, and would require schools to provide at least one outdoor lesson each week. It would also require that every child be offered an outdoor education experience during primary school years and at least one during secondary school years.
What it would do
