The Reciprocal Cross-Border Public Services Bill would require the Secretary of State to publish proposals about reciprocal provision of health, social and education services between local authorities across different parts of the UK (England and Scotland, and England and Wales). It also would require the Secretary of State to publish guidance on how individual data is stored, shared and used by public service providers, and would require certain public service providers to comply with that guidance.
