What this bill is about
The Covid-19 Vaccine Damage Payments Bill would require the Secretary of State to make provision for financial assistance for people who have suffered disablement following a Covid-19 vaccination, and for the next of kin of people who died shortly after vaccination. It would also require a report to Parliament on the merits of a no-fault compensation scheme, including eligibility criteria, whether there should be an upper limit, and whether payments would be made in all cases where there is no other reasonable cause. What it would do
